My historically-minded poetess pal Julia is back with another limerick, this time on last week's Articles of Confederation post. Without further ado:

One might think the Constitution was first

But the Articles of Confederation, as I shall relate in verse

Governed the nation—or at least tried,

Until the Federalists cried

That the Articles were simply the worst
